Lusting Over Wedges for Covet Fridays

We’ll be the first ones to admit that we aren’t often drawn to wedges.

We’re incredibly picky: they have to be the perfect silhouette and the base has to be flawless. It makes us cringe how many wedges rely on shoddy looking platforms.

HOWEVER, while fiddling around Polyvore for another style guide, we kept drooling over wedge after wedge. It was ridiculous how many wedges we kept squeezing into the style guide we were working on, feebly trying to make an explosion of wedges fit in with the guide’s aesthetic.

Well, needless to say, the wedges stuck out like a sore thumb. Thus, we decided to create a wedge wish list all by itself, giving our current obsession the individualized attention it deserves.

Here are the wedges we’re coveting. And just so there is full disclosure, we had to severely edit this style guide. There are just THAT many amazing wedges out there right now. We stuck to a neutral palette, because let’s be honest, that’s what we tend to drift toward.
