This past March L.L. Bean released its new Signature Collection, which took its classic silhouettes and gave them a sleek update. We received its fall 2010 Signature collection catalog in the mail the other day. We’re not going to lie, we typically toss aside L.L. Bean catalogs unless we are buying a fleece for our parents. However, we were intrigued by the updated catalog design. Once we delved inside, we were taken aback by the differences we noticed from the standard L.L. Bean aesthetic. It was much more polished and chic, a blend between rugged-outdoor wear and J.Crew’s urban, disheveled flair. We were extremely pleased with the new fall men’s collection, which displayed classic, signature pieces styled with a modern hand. Below we highlight some of our favorite looks from the collection. We encourage you to check it out, putting aside any preconceived notions you have of this timeless brand.
