Palladium boots bring war-inspired style to your kicks. Founded in 1920, Palladium started as a tire manufacturer for the aviation industry. However, after the war the need for tires vanished. Rather than fading out, Palladium’s leaders decided to try their hand at footwear, making it as durable as their tires. They ended up being not so bad at making shoes. They were so good, in fact, the French Foreign Legion officially adopted the footwear line for its troops.
The rest is history…and a piece of that history is seen today in every one of Palladium’s designs. The signature rubber sole is just as durable as its tires once were, and the aesthetic is nostalgically militant. It’s like a cross between a bad-ass military boot and the classic Chuck Taylor. This blend makes it both architectural and streamlined like a combat boot, but a little relaxed and disheveled like Converse. All in all, it makes for a very urban vibe, which we totally dig.
