Women’s Holiday Wish List: Adria’s Picks

‘Tis the season, and to celebrate we’re kicking off a series of holiday gift guides throughout the month. Every Friday, we’ll highlight a different gift guide for that special someone in your life. To get things started, Travis and I will show you the products we’re personally hoping to find under our tree this year.

First up, Adria. I’ve created a style guide showcasing the products that I desperately want, but am holding off on buying in hopes they will make it into a gift box this year.

womens xmas shopping list

1. Leopard print pumps – $225. I’ve always shied away from leopard print in my wardrobe, but I think these have officially converted me.

2. Camp socks – $12.50. I wear these socks from J.Crew just about everyday. Yet I rarely buy them for myself because, come on, it’s socks! I always tend to forgo staples and wait until they end up in my stocking. These are absolutely amazing because they are comfy and add great texture to any look.

3. Sweater comb – $18. When I used to work at J.Crew, we used to give out little wooden balls to run over your cashmere. This has upped the sophistication and effectiveness of removing pils.

4. Key portrait – $30. If you looked at our Pinterest at all, you probably noticed I love art and typography. This picture speaks to me, and would make a perfect addition to any home.

5. Travel-ready toiletries – $30. I’ll be going to London in January, and have been already loosing sleep over the check-a-bag-vs.-to-not-check-a-bag conundrum. This is helping make the case for a carry on only approach.

6. Satchel – £93. I’m in desperate need of a brown leather crossbody satchel that is big enough to hold a laptop and SLR camera. I love how this is old-world looking, but with modern architectural lines.

7. Clarisonic facial brush – $119. I’ve wanted one of these for a while, but still haven’t built up the courage to take the plunge.

8. Hunter ankle boots – $150. The knee-high black Hunters I bought a few years ago are a true staple, and I’m so excited to see this unique, yet just as versatile addition to its collection.

9. Gold ring – $68. I love a carefully-edited collection of rings, and I have a few I never take off. Yet, I rarely buy myself a ring. This one is minimal, but cheeky with its nod to the French pastry. I love food, thus, it’s very fitting.

10. Pink party dress – $188. This dress is so beautiful and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and weather. Dying to wear it over a borrowed-from-the-boys button down.

11. Chambray shirt – $78. Everyday I ask myself “why don’t I own a chambray shirt?” But whenever I’m at the store, I think back to the pseudo chambray shirt I already have in my closet. It’s a constant battle, and I have yet to purchase one, but I think it’s about time this changes.
