Finally a weekend that isn’t all about gorging ourselves silly.
Okay, there’s some gorging, but there’s also a yoga and music event, shopping festivities, and more going on this weekend in Seattle and beyond. Let me break it down…
If you aren’t signed up for our newsletter, you didn’t get our March events calendar. Every month we’re sending a list of all the best foodie, shopping, & outdoor events happening in the Seattle and PNW area. I highly suggest you signup to receive these. March’s list went out last week and trust me, there are some friggin’ awesome events happening this month.
All Weekend: Gorge on Mussels at the Penn Cove Mussel Fest on Camano Island
Make the trek to stuff your face with mussels and tour mussel farms. This annual event features a mussel chowder tasting tour, demos, beer gardens, and more.
Saturday March 12: Shop Until You Drop at a Spring Vintage Market
Take a trip to The Farm @ Swans Trail to peruse 34 vintage and upcycled vendors. Food trucks will be there to provide sustenance.
Saturday March 12: Get Your Flex on with the Seattle Yoga Meetup
The Seattle Yoga Meetup group is offering a 60-min. vinyasa yoga class at District Yoga. DJ Drishti will be spinning tunes and free healthy snacks are yours with a ticket purchase. There will also be a photographer in case you want high quality photos of you in crow’s pose (you know, for Instagram).
Sunday March 13: Help Cancer Research by Attending the Sip & Shop Events
Spend the day shopping at Bellevue Square or U-Village while sipping wine and enjoying discounts at participating stores. Guests at Bellevue Square will receive 14 wine tastes with ticket purchase and get to experience fashion shows, demos, and more. U-Village shoppers will get discounts and light bites.
Sunday March 13: Gorge (Again) at the Bacon, Eggs, & Kegs Festival
Enjoy a brunchy booze fest at CenturyLink Fields from 11 am – 3 pm. Guests will receive 12 drink tokens to sample their choice of local brews, bloody Mary’s, or Irish coffee. There will also be local restaurants selling (not giving) bacon-inspired brunch fare.
